Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Pairio ("Service"), a screen sharing application for macOS, operated by Pairio ("we", "us", "our").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Service Description
Pairio provides real-time screen sharing for macOS, including pixel-perfect screen sharing, remote control with permission, live drawing on shared screen, built-in voice chat, app hiding (App Mask), and end-to-end encryption.
The Service requires a macOS device and an internet connection. We may update features and functionality from time to time to improve the Service.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Not share your account with others or create multiple accounts
You are responsible for all activity under your account. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication for additional security.
4. Accounts and Contacts
Each user has an individual account. You can add other users as contacts via a mutual request system. Both parties must accept a contact request before they can start screen sharing sessions together.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
5. Pricing and Payment
5.1 Subscription
The Service is available as a monthly subscription. Current pricing is displayed on our website. Prices are in euros (EUR) and include applicable taxes where required.
5.2 Payment Processing
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. We do not store your full payment card details.
5.3 Billing Cycle
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Your billing cycle starts on the day you subscribe and renews automatically each month until cancelled.
5.4 Price Changes
We may adjust pricing with at least 30 days' notice. You will be notified by email before any price change takes effect. If you do not agree with a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new price applies.
6. Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days of subscribing, without giving any reason, if have not started logging into the tool to use it.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, send a clear statement to [email protected]. We will reimburse your payment within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Share screens containing illegal, harmful, or offensive content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or sessions
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the application
- Use the Service for surveillance or monitoring without consent of all participants
- Transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code through the Service
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute access to the Service
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy, with notice where practicable.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, logos, and documentation, is owned by Pairio and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service.
You retain all rights to the content you share through the Service. Screen sharing streams are peer-to-peer and end-to-end encrypted — we do not access, store, or claim any rights over the content of your sessions.
9. Service Availability
We strive to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned maintenance in advance. If extended downtime occurs, we may offer service credits at our discretion.
10. Liability
We accept full liability for damages caused by intent or gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and for any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
For slight negligence, our liability is limited to foreseeable, typically occurring damages up to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. This does not affect mandatory consumer protection rights under EU law.
11. Contract Duration and Cancellation
11.1 Duration
Your subscription continues on a month-to-month basis and renews automatically until cancelled.
11.2 Cancellation by You
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to the Service until then. No partial refunds are given for unused time within a billing period.
11.3 Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, subject to reasonable prior notice where possible. In the event of termination for cause, no refund will be provided for the current billing period.
11.4 After Termination
Upon termination, your account data will be retained for 30 days in case you wish to reactivate. After that, it will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Data Protection
We process your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Your data is hosted on servers in the European Union. Screen sharing sessions are peer-to-peer and end-to-end encrypted.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you may cancel your subscription before they take effect.
14. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
If you have a complaint, please contact us at [email protected]. We will do our best to resolve it within 14 days.
The European Commission provides an Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform for consumers: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obligated to participate in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board, but we are committed to finding fair solutions.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law provisions. This does not affect your rights as a consumer under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
