# Lightweight screen sharing next to Gather, Slack or a virtual office

> Your team talks in Gather or Slack, but the screen share is blurry and nobody can click. Add a light, sharp screen share with remote control next to the tools you already use.

**Short answer:** keep talking in Gather, Slack or your virtual office, and use Pairio only for the screen. Turn Pairio's microphone and camera off, share your Mac screen sharply, and let a colleague point or take over with their own mouse and keyboard. You do not have to move your team to a new meeting tool to get a better screen share.

## When this helps

- Your team lives in a virtual office, but small text in a shared screen is hard to read.
- You want a colleague to click in your app, not just watch.
- You want to show something for two minutes without starting a new meeting.

## How to set it up

1. Everyone on Mac installs Pairio and adds each other as contacts. Colleagues without a Mac join from a browser.
2. Keep your voice and video in Gather or Slack, as you do now.
3. When you want to show something, click your colleague's name in the Pairio menu.
4. Mute the microphone and leave the camera off in Pairio, so you do not hear each other twice.
5. Share your screen. Your colleague can draw on it to point, or take over to click and type.

## Good to know

- Pairio shows whether a contact is available or in a call. When someone's microphone is in use in another app, such as Gather, Pairio shows them as "in a call".
- Up to 4 people per Pairio call.
- You share your whole screen. Use App Mask to hide apps you do not want to show.
